Customized and quickly installed

Sphairlab recently successfully installed a customizedcleanroom at Max Streicher GmbH & Co KGaA. This cleanroom, which isspecially tailored to the customer's requirements, demonstrates our ability todevelop customized cleanroom solutions that are precisely tailored to the needsof our customers.

Project details and special features

The cleanroom tent, with an area of approximately 30 m², wasdesigned to fit perfectly into an existing space. This solution enables optimaluse of space and integration into the existing infrastructure.

One feature of this cleanroom is our so-called “Open-Up-wall,” a special opening in the wall that facilitates the introduction of largecomponents. Another special feature is the custom-designed airlock. In additionto the standard personnel doors, the cleanroom has two large double portaldoors that were specially manufactured to make optimal use of the ceilingheight. These portal doors allow large components such as switch cabinets to beeasily moved in and out, which significantly increases the flexibility andefficiency of the cleanroom.

Efficiency and sustainability

The cleanroom was constructed on site in just three days,with a delivery time of only eight weeks after design approval. The cleanroommeets the requirements of cleanroom class 7 according to ISO 14644-1, thusproviding an optimal environment for demanding production processes.

Another important feature of this cleanroom is the automaticnight setback, which helps to save energy when the cleanroom is not inoperation. This feature is particularly important as operating costs are oftenan underestimated factor in cleanrooms. The implementation of this technologycan result in significant savings in operating costs.
