sphairlab presents self-assembling cleanroom prototypes in Aachen's Coronation Hall

At the Aachen Industry Dialogue in Aachen City Hall, we exhibited a special prototype together with our partner Eurogard GmbH: a fully functional, self-assembling cleanroom. Within just two hours, the cleanroom with an area of 9 m² plus airlock was set up in the historic Coronation Hall – impressively demonstrating its speed, flexibility, and user-friendliness.

A cleanroom that sets standards
The prototype is specially designed for quick assembly and easy handling and is ideal for companies that need temporary or short-term cleanroom solutions, as well as start-ups. Despite its compact design, it meets the requirements of cleanroom classes 7 and 8 according to ISO 14644-1, offering a cost-effective and standard-compliant alternative to traditional cleanrooms.
A particular highlight of the presentation was the collaboration with Eurogard, whose monitoring systems for cleanrooms perfectly complement our textile cleanroom solutions. Together, we demonstrate how modern cleanroom technology can be monitored not only efficiently but also intelligently.
Great interest and valuable discussions
The Aachen Industry Dialogue was well attended, and our illuminated cleanroom attracted a great deal of interest in its historic setting. The positive feedback confirmed our belief that flexible, quickly assembled cleanrooms are a forward-looking solution for many companies – whether in medical technology, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing.
Conclusion: Cleanroom technology reimagined
The Aachen Industry Dialogue has once again demonstrated how important innovative and adaptable cleanroom solutions are for industry. Our prototype proves that high cleanliness standards, speed, and cost efficiency do not have to be mutually exclusive.
We would like to thank all visitors for the intensive discussions and look forward to further exciting projects!
