Digital Independence Day (DUT), celebrated on the first Sunday of every month, reminds us of the importance of strengthening digital sovereignty—including in corporate communications. Following the expansion of our social media presence to Mastodon last month, we are now taking another step forward: Signal is now being introduced as an additional, secure communication channel for our customers and partners.

Secure and privacy-compliant communication

Internally, we have been using Threema for team communication for quite some time. We are now expanding this strategy to include Signal, so that we can also offer an end-to-end encrypted and privacy-friendly alternative to conventional messengers for external communication. This enables us to securely exchange confidential information, project updates, or documentation (e.g., photos of installation sites).
